Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is a scientific research and educational institution found in 1890 on the north shore of Long Island, New York. Home to eight Nobel laureates, CSHL has long been known as the birthplace of molecular biology. 

  Cold Spring Harbor Asia DNA Learning Center (CSHL - DNALC) was established in Suzhou, China, in July of 2015. It is the first professional DNA science education institution of its kind in China.CSHL-DNALC has received strong support from Nobel laureate Dr. James Watson, who co-discovered the  double helix structure of the DNA molecule.
